PROJECTS IN PRODUCTION
The story starts with an elite military unit known as Phoenix one. Set in the near future. The commander of the unit, John Weston and the other five members of the team find themselves deployed on a mission in an undisclosed location. Weston having been given sketchy details about the nature of the mission has a shock when early on events transpire and he realises that the threat is real. Torn between his training, his loyalty to his men and his moral conscience he has to fight an internal war as well as the one against their enemy.

Below is a list of projects I'm currently working on. My main work at the moment is the Areslenia saga. I have now completed the first of five or six novels, which take place in the world of Areslenia (See map above - Please note - The Map is a work in progress as the story develops).
A fantasy adventure story, following the main characters, Captain Aramun, Mirithan the Wizard and his order or wizards, Arianna and her twin brother Shilah, plus many more.

The second project which exists mainly as rough notes in my notebook. Phoenix one is going to be a Sci / Fi slash Military thriller. Sample chapters for this one coming soon.
Finally the third project exists mainly as a seed in my head awaiting germination. Watching my seven year old son, Alec, building with his K'Nex one day, I asked him what he'd made. He said it was the "Crazy Machine". This inspired me and seemed like the perfect title for a children's book. I am constantly amazed by some of the creations he comes up with completely out of nowhere.

The Crazy Machine
The Crazy machine is still largely just a concept in my head. Inspired by the some of the awesome creations my seven year old son, Alec builds from his K'Nex, Magnetix and Lego. He is a constant reminder to me that a childs mind is a truly spectacular place.

We adults need to remind ourselves each day that although life is so hectic and there seems to be so little time for anything we were once just like our children and would do well to go back there in our minds every so often.

The story will be based around a little boy, probably the same age as my son, who builds something truly remarkable. He will then have a series of incredible adventures based around "The (spectacular)(incredible)(stupendous) Crazy machine

Set in the world of Areslenia, book one sees the beginning of what I hope to be a series of five to six books, following the adventure of Captain Aramun, commander of the North Arshand Cavalry guard. Along with Mirithan, head of an order of wizards.

The world is under threat from an old enemy. The first book introduces us to Arianna and her her twin brother, Shilah born at the beginning of the story but separated at birth by dark events. Their fate and untold power is directly linked to the fate of all the free peoples of the world.

Aramun, Mirithan and their allies must now fight a long and difficult battle to ensure the balance of all things. In a world where music forms the very basis of all things, including magic, time is against them. They must find the twins before the enemy do.
